This house is conceived as essential architecture designed for living, transforming the bare minimum.
It is a single-story structure organized with functional clarity, where each space responds to a specific need without superfluous gestures, offering great flexibility.
The relationship with the surroundings is carefully considered, seeking protection, silnce, and tranquility. The building's volume is supported by a darker materiality, linked to the landscape, with natural tones that harmonize with the terrain and reinforce its introspective character.
The exterior wood, treated with deeper grain, provides texture and presence, while the precisely placed openings allow light to enter without sacrificing a sense of shelter. Inside, the spaces flow seamlessly and compactly, creating a warm and serene atmosphere.
A unique feature defines the house: at one end, the original container doors are preserved, providing access to a small exterior storage area. Far from being hidden, this element is integrated as part of the project's design language, recalling the piece's industrial origins and reinforcing the idea of an austere and honest refuge.
